The Mississippi Association of Supervisors (MAS) continues to work around the clock with the National Association of County Officials (NACo) regarding the push for another recovery COVID-19 funding package. NOTE: MISSISSIPPI COUNTIES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR “DIRECT” FUNDING UNDER THE CURRENT CORONA VIRUS RELIEF FUND. MISSISSIPPI COUNTIES WILL HAVE TO WORK WITH ITS STATE GOVERNMENT IN HOPES OF RECEIVING ANY OF THE $1.25 BILLION THAT THE STATE IS GOING TO RECEIVE.
