Cancellation Policy:

Due to hotel attrition policies and catering deadlines, MAS has adopted the following cancellation policy.

  • Early Cancellation: If notice of cancellation is received from date of registration to July 11, 2020, no cancellation fee will be assessed.
  • 14-Day Cancellation: If notice of cancellation is received July 11 - July 26, 2020, a cancellation fee equal to one-fourth (1/4) of the registration cost will be assessed, based on original registration fee. 
  • Late Cancellation: If notice of cancellation is received after July 26, 2020, a cancellation fee equal to one-half (1/2) of the registration cost will be assessed, based on original registration fee.
  • COVID-19: Regardless of cancellation policy stated above, if the 2020 COVID-19 crisis necessitates the cancellation of the 2020 Convention, MAS will refund all paid registration fees.

Vendor Information:

Vendor registration for the 2020 MAS Annual Convention is officially open! Please review the Vendor Registration Form carefully and send back to Yamaiky Gamez by email (YGamez@massup.org), fax 601.353.2749 or mail to the MAS office at 793 North President Street, Jackson, MS 39202. Once MAS assigns booths to exhibitors, CDS will distribute an Exhibitor Packet to you to order additional furnishings and services.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Written notice of cancellation must be received at the MAS Office no later than July 1, 2020 Refund requests will be subject to a $75 service charge.  No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after July 1, 2020.  No refunds will be processed until after the close of the Convention. COVID-19 Crisis: MAS continues to monitor the current pandemic crisis closely.  At this time, we see no need to cancel the 2020 Annual Convention. However, MAS has revised our standard cancellation policy to allow vendors to receive a full refund on sponsor and exhibitor fees if the 2020 Convention must be cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Convention Hotels - August 10-13,2020

  • Hotel blocks open at 9:00 a.m. on May 1, 2020.  Conference rate may not be available before May 1 or after cutoff date(s). 
  • You must request MAS rate at the time reservation is made to guarantee block rates.  Rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out. Block rates are subject to sales tax and resort fees (vary by property). 
  • Any county making direct bill arrangements (sub-block) with hotel may be subject to attrition rates if county cancels rooms after MAS block closes.
  • You must confirm required deposit, cancellation, early check-out and other policies with hotel. 
  • You must confirm tax exemption payment requirements with hotel at the time reservation is made.
