The Fall Educational & Policy Development Workshop brings Mississippi county officials together to strengthen their knowledge of county government, prepare for the upcoming legislative session, discuss issues affecting counties, and connect with fellow county leaders and industry partners.
Educational Sessions
Participate in Institute education classes covering timely issues including redistricting, property tax revenue, data centers, legislative preparation, and other topics affecting Mississippi counties.
Policy Development
Look ahead to the 2027 Regular Legislative Session and participate in the process leading to ratification of MAS's 2027 Legislative Agenda.
Connections
Meet with fellow county officials, connect with Meet & Greet exhibitors, enjoy networking opportunities, and take part in local interest activities.

When does the regular registration rate end?
The regular registration rate is available through September 24, 2026. Registrations received after September 24 will be charged the late registration rate.
Can I register using the Adobe Web Form?
Yes. County and vendor Adobe Web Forms are available in the Registration section above. The regular registration rate applies through September 24, 2026. After September 24, the late rate will apply.
Who should attend the Fall Workshop?
The workshop is designed for Mississippi county officials and employees, including Supervisors, County Administrators, Chancery Clerks, County Attorneys, Finance Officers, Road Managers, and other county staff.
Where will the workshop be held?
The Workshop will be held at the Huntington Bank Conference Center, 375 East Main Street, Tupelo, MS 38804. Unless otherwise noted, workshop meetings and activities will take place at the conference center.
Is the agenda final?
No. The agenda currently posted on this page is tentative. Session times, speakers, topics, and activities may change as workshop planning continues. MAS will update this page as additional information is finalized.
Are workshop sessions eligible for educational credit?
The workshop agenda includes Institute Education Classes. Additional information regarding core and elective education credit will be provided as the final education schedule is completed.

Local Interest Tours are currently scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Tour destinations and participation information will be added as those details are finalized.
