Why We Renamed the Workshop

The newly renamed Fall Educational & Policy Development Workshop highlights two equal priorities: hands-on education for county leaders and collaboration on MAS’s legislative agenda ahead of the upcoming 2026 legislative session.

Educational Sessions
Earn elective and core credits for the MAS IECG Education Program while exploring new technology in county government, legal and policy issues, legislative updates for the upcoming session, and so much more!
Policy Preparation
Work with other counties to discuss key issues and help finalize MAS’s 2026 legislative agenda, ensuring county voices are heard at the Capitol.
Networking
Build connections with county leaders, vendors, and exhibitors between sessions and during receptions, tours, and other special events.
